Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of RSGauges (the “Software”), a Connect IQ data field for the Garmin Edge, distributed by Perfectum LLC-FZ (a UAE free-zone company; the “Company”, “we”). By installing, paying for, or using the Software you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't install the Software.

1. License

On successful payment (or gift code redemption), we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual license to use the Software on a single Garmin Edge device identified by the device ID present at purchase. The license cannot be re-sold, sub-licensed, or used on a second device without our written consent (one free transfer is included — see the Help page).

2. Price & payment

The Software is sold for a one-time fee of USD 69 (regularly USD 79.99; Stripe Tax adds applicable VAT / sales tax for your region; the total is displayed at checkout). There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and subject to Stripe's own terms.

3. Trial

You may use the Software for free for one ride. The trial is consumed as soon as that ride logs a distance of 5 kilometres or more; subsequent activities will show the activation overlay until a paid license is acquired. The trial is tracked on the device, not on our servers — reinstalling the Software wipes the device's local state and grants another trial ride. We do not consider this abuse for individual users.

4. Refunds

We offer a no-questions-asked refund within 30 days of purchase. Email support@rsgauges.app from the address used at checkout. Refunds are issued through Stripe and typically appear on your card within 5–10 business days. Refunded licenses are revoked; the device returns to the activation state on its next license refresh.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source of the Software beyond what is permitted by applicable law;
• redistribute, share, or publish license tokens, gift codes, or referral codes en masse or in circumvention of these Terms;
• use the Software in safety-critical or medical contexts (the Software is for recreational and training use only);
• use the referral program with self-purchases, friend-circle wash trades, or stolen-card transactions — we may withhold commissions and block the account.

6. Referral program

If you sign up as a referrer, we issue you a unique promo code. For each successful, non-refunded purchase using your code we credit you a commission of up to 25% of the final (post-discount) price. Commissions are held for 30 days before becoming withdrawable, to absorb chargebacks and refunds. The minimum payout is USD 50. Payouts are issued via Wise or USDT TRC-20 at your choice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate referral accounts engaged in fraud or self-dealing; refunds always void the corresponding commission.

7. Updates

We may release updates from time to time, distributed through the Connect IQ Store. Updates may add, change, or remove features. We aim never to remove a feature you paid for, but cannot guarantee backwards-compatibility with future Garmin firmware indefinitely.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the Software, the RSGauges name, logo, and materials on this website are reserved to Perfectum LLC-FZ. The Garmin and Connect IQ trademarks belong to Garmin Ltd. and are used solely for compatibility identification — we are not endorsed by or affiliated with Garmin.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You use the Software at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim (i.e. at most the original purchase price). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost ride data, lost training records, or missed races.

11. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Software. You may stop using it at any time by uninstalling. We may terminate the license — and revoke the token — in cases of refund, chargeback, fraud, or material breach. In such cases we refund the unused portion at our discretion.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will first be attempted in good-faith correspondence; if that fails, jurisdiction is the courts of the relevant UAE free zone. Consumers retain any mandatory protections of their local jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms materially, we update the “Last updated” date and — if you've given us an email — notify you. Continuing to use the Software after a change constitutes acceptance.
